What are the minimum system requirements?
Minimum system requirements include:
• DVD disc drive
• Internet Connection
• Microsoft Windows XP or Vista
• Windows Media Player (WMP) 11 or above
• 2.0 GB of available hard drive space
• Internet Explorer (IE), version 6 or higher
If your PC does not meet the minimum system requirements, it is likely that you will not be able to watch the Digital Copy video files.
Where can I get the latest version of Windows Media Player?

Where can I get the latest security components for my Windows Media Player?

Why am I receiving "The webpage cannot be found" error message?
An Internet connection is required to obtain a Digital Copy license. Please verify that you are connected to the Internet.
Why am I receiving an "unsupported operating system" error message?
Please verify that you are running Microsoft Windows XP or Vista operating system.
I am getting an message that ‘This website wants to run the following add-on: DRM ActiveX Network Object’ from Microsoft Corporation, what should I do?
Click on the message to run the Add-on. This ActiveX add on is required to deliver you the licence key for the content you are purchasing.
Why does the Digital Copy application require I upgrade my security component?
A minimum security component is required to ensure your media player runs with optimal security. Using Internet Explorer, upgrade to the latest security level by visiting Microsoft’s Security Component Upgrade Site.
Why am I receiving an "upgrade Windows Media Player" error message?
Please verify that you have Windows Media Player 11 or above installed on your PC. You may download the latest version of Windows Media Player from Microsoft’s Windows Media Download Center.
When I try to obtain a license, why do I get a continuous loop of prompts asking me to upgrade Windows Media Player or Windows Media Security?
The DRM reset procedure can be found here.
NOTE: Performing the below procedure will make all DRM licenses on your computer inaccessible, unless you reverse your changes later.
To correct this issue, you may need to remove/rename the DRM cache on your system and re-upgrade Windows Media security components. You can first try directly accessing the security update page here (be sure to allow the blocked content).
If that does not work however, please follow the instructions below:
1. Close Windows Media Player, then go to My Computer, then to the C:\Documents and Settings\All Users directory. (Vista users, go to C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows) If you don’t see this, that’s because it’s a hidden folder. See below for instructions on how to set your folder view options to make this folder visible.
2. In this folder there is a folder called "DRM". If you don’t see this, that’s because it’s a hidden folder. See below for instructions on how to set your folder view options to make this folder visible.
3. Select the DRM folder, and select File > Rename from the toolbar menu at top.
4. Rename the folder and hit Enter when done.
5. Close, then re-open the http://www.warnerbros.com.au/ website.
Setting folder view options
Windows XP:
1. Open a My Computer window.
2. In the toolbar menu at top, select Tools > Folder Options
3. In the Folder Options panel, select the View tab.
4. Under the Advanced Settings section, select the "Show hidden files and folders" option, and uncheck the "Hide protected operating system files" option, then click Apply.
5. At the top of that panel, select the "Apply To All Folders" option and click OK.
6. You should now be able to see the hidden files and folders in your directories.
Windows Vista:
1. Click the Start button and select Computer.
2. In the window, click the Organize button, and select "Folder and Search Options" from the list.
3. In the Folder Options panel, select the View tab.
4. Under the Advanced Settings section, select the "Show hidden files and folders" option, and uncheck the "Hide protected operating system files" option, then click Apply.
5. At the top of that panel, select the "Apply To Folders" option and click OK.
6. You should now be able to see the hidden files and folders in your directories.
To restore your original DRM licenses
1. Close Windows Media Player, then go to My Computer, then to the C:\Documents and Settings\All Users directory (Vista users, go to C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows).
2. In this folder, find the folder called "DRM".
3. Select the DRM folder, and select File > Delete from the toolbar menu at top.
4. In this same directory should be the older version of the DRM folder that you renamed previously.
5. Select this folder and rename it back to DRM. Hit Enter when done.
6. Your original DRM cache is now restored.
Why is the Upgrade button grayed out?
On Windows Vista systems, this control is disabled because of a setting in Internet Explorer. To resolve it, click Tools and select Internet Options. In the panel that appears, select the Security tab. Uncheck the "Enable protected mode (requires restarting Internet Explorer)" option and click OK, then close the browser. Click here to return to the security upgrade page.
Why am I receiving a "drive does not have enough space" error message when the Digital Copy application tries to copy the media files?
The Digital Copy media files require a minimum of 2.0 GB of free hard drive space to complete the media file copy process. Please free up space required for the media files or select a different hard drive that meets this minimum requirement.
If my computer crashes before the download completes, how do I resume the download?
Navigate to the folder in which you saved the download manager executable and double click it to resume the download. If you are not sure where the file was saved you can search your local hard drives for WBDownloadManager.exe
If I close the download manager and select the option to finish downloading later, how to I resume the download?
When you select the finish download later option the download manager creates a shortcut on your desktop titled "Finish Downloading Download Manager". Launch this shortcut to resume the download. If you cannot locate this shortcut then navigate to the folder in which you saved the download manager executable and double click it to resume the download. If you are not sure where the file was saved you can search your local hard drives for WBDownloadManager.exe
Can I backup or move the digital copy to another PC?
You can make a backup copy of the video file; however it cannot be played on another PC without a valid license. The license is installed once, on the PC you used to download the content.
What format is the digital copy?
The digital copy is in Windows Media format, encrypted with Windows Media DRM.
Will the digital copy work on my Macintosh computer running OS X?
No, Macintosh OS X cannot play video encrypted with Windows Media DRM.
Are you downloading content to a computer that is protected by a firewall?
If you are downloading content to a computer that is protected by a firewall, you will get a message that you need to set proxy server settings:

After the Digital Copy application completes the copy process to my PC, how do I playback the movie?
Digital copyDigital copy video files are copied to the My Videos folder in your My Documents folder. Simply double-click the file’s icon to begin playback. You can also start Windows Media Player and then choose Add to Library from the File menu and navigate to the My Documents/My Videos folder and select the video file to add.

Where do I find the authorisation code to obtain a Digital Copy?
The authorisation code is printed on the Digital Copy insert included with the DVD.
What should I do if my DVD or Blu-ray disc is missing an insert with my authorisation code?
Contact customer support using our support request web form.
How many times can my authorisation code be used?
The authorisation code can be used once. One authorisation code will provide 1 PC and 1 portable media device copy license.
Why am I receiving an "authorisation code is not valid" error message?
Please verify that the authorisation code inputted in the form field correctly matches the authorisation code printed on the Digital Copy DVD insert. If you are still receiving an error, please contact customer support.
Why am I receiving a "maximum number of attempts has been exceeded" error message for my authorisation code?
The authorisation code can be used once. This means that authorisation code has already been used to obtain a license to playback the Digital Copy media files.
Why is an authorisation code required?
The authorisation code is required to receive a DRM content license to enable the playback of the Digital Copy media files.
Why do I need a license to watch a Digital Copy movie?

FAQ’s – PC and Portable Digital Copy Playback
After the Digital Copy application completes the copy process to my PC, how do I playback the movie?
After the copy process is complete, you may playback the movie by clicking on the "Watch your Digital Copy of this movie" button from the Digital Copy application screen or by double-clicking the movie file saved on your PC. This will launch Windows Media Player for viewing a Digital Copy movie.
